How Munyai Consulting collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated 14 August 2026.

Munyai Consulting (Pty) Ltd ("Munyai Consulting", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African law. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name and surname, email address, telephone number, the subject of your enquiry, and your message. We do not require you to create an account or provide any other personal information to browse this website.

Like most websites, our web server and hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and diagnostic purposes. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit through our contact form solely to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes for our research and fieldwork services, and correspond with you about a potential or ongoing project. We do not use your contact details for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

Our contact form is processed by FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service, which forwards your submission to our email address. Your message may pass through FormSubmit's infrastructure in the course of delivery. We only use service providers who are reasonably expected to apply appropriate security measures to information they process on our behalf.

4. Research & Fieldwork Data

Separately from this website, Munyai Consulting collects personal information from members of the public while conducting commissioned market and social research on behalf of our clients (for example, survey or interview responses). That data collection is governed by the specific consent, confidentiality and data-handling terms of each individual project, and our client is typically the data controller for that information. If you have participated in one of our research projects and have questions about how your responses were used, please contact us using the details below and we will direct your query appropriately.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, where a project proceeds, for the duration of our engagement and any period required by law or sound business record-keeping practice. You may ask us to delete your enquiry data at any time.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information in our possession against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
